Stopped here with a few of my friends for drinks and it's such a great place for a chill drink and kickback. Bartender was super nice and the ambiance of the place was really cool. Great bar for chatting and watching sports so would recommend if looking for something low key with friends!
I was initially confused when I got a text from my big bro that read "MY HOMIE STARTED AN ICE CREAM COMPANY THAT'S BLOWING UP AND SHE'S DOING A POPUP AT ABC BREWING. IT'S ODE!" Idk why he texts in all caps all the time, it's kinda scary. Nonetheless, my innate curiosity got the best of me and I pulled up to get some ice cream in a Brewing Co. First off, this place is TIGHT. A huge projector playing an NFL preseason game, a slew of canned and bottle beers, a rustic interior, a beautiful back patio with a dart board, patrons locked in on laptops drinking quality craft beers from local breweries, etc. Second off, THAT ICE CREAM WAS SO DAMN GOOD. Shoutout to Betty Jo's Ice Cream. That Sweet Cherry Pie flavor might have been my favorite ice cream I've had all year, and I don't even like Cherry Pie lol. Betty Jo not messing around. It all came together when I found out they were running a deal that if you bought a beer, you got a free scoop of vanilla ice cream to make a float. Been to this place a bunch of times. Last time was September 2023. Store in front blends in with the tap room in back. Comfortable chairs inside, and a big long table. Great place for afternoons. Sliced cheese platter. We sat I the back a few times in the old days. Small area, 1 table or 2. Beer selection in cans and bottles is extensive, so great for take-away. Always something great on Tap as well. Recommended.
If you like Beer, this is the place for you. Super payback vibe. So many varieties of beers outside, inside seats and Backyard as well. They also sell snacks(popcorn and potato chips etc...) and cheese. M9 bus stop is around the corner it's running every 10min/day time.
Love hitting up this spot after a 10 mile training run for the upcoming marathons I'm in. Terrific beer selection, snacks on hand, and nice outside seating area. Picked a tasty IPA after a sweaty run along with some gourmet popcorn to munch on. Decent prices and choice of tap or canned beers.
Great beer selection always a great way to have some quality craft beer served in NYC from local breweries around the tri-state area. The bartender/owner knows all the drinks and can recommend the best kind of drink your looking for. The place has an older rustistic nee york vibe which takes you back to Old New York days. The atmosphere is great to bring guests with plenty of seating and standing area. This is the kind of place to explore new drinks, enjoy quality time with friends and meet new people, Always a good place to start or end the night.
